Free Showers and Haircuts at Shower of Blessings
CleanUP is hosting Shower of Blessings on August 29, 2026, offering free community showers and haircuts to the Dallas community. The event runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a three-hour window dedicated entirely to helping people feel clean, cared for, and ready to face the day.
About the Venue
Shower of Blessings is one of CleanUP's own recurring outreach events, built around a simple idea: access to a warm shower and a fresh haircut shouldn't be out of reach for anyone. We bring our mobile hygiene setup directly into the Dallas community, meeting people where they already are.
What to Expect
Community showers access is the centerpiece of this event, offering safe showering for vulnerable individuals through dignified, accessible hygiene facilities for the needy. Free public showers for the economically disadvantaged and accessible shower services for disabled individuals in need are available throughout the morning, alongside pop-up bathing facilities and hygiene stations for at-risk youth.
Alongside the showers, CleanUP's volunteer hairdressers will be offering free haircut events and community barber services, with haircut vouchers for the needy and grooming services for low-income individuals. Haircare assistance for single-parent families and complimentary haircuts for widows and widowers round out the day's offerings.
CleanUP's Mission and Values
CleanUP's mission is to make hygiene and grooming services accessible to everyone, regardless of housing situation or financial circumstances. We believe that something as simple as a warm shower and a fresh haircut can restore a real sense of dignity.
Our values of compassion and accessibility guide every Shower of Blessings event we host. We're grateful for every volunteer and every guest who makes this recurring event possible.
