Free Haircuts at KIPP Back to School Bash

CleanUP is joining KIPP Texas for its Back to School Bash on August 5, 2026, offering free haircuts to students and families. Held at 1545 S Ewing Ave, Dallas, TX, home to KIPP Truth Academy and KIPP Truth Elementary, the event runs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a three-hour window of service.

Since opening in 2003, KIPP Truth Academy has grown to serve a diverse student population, building a strong culture of academic excellence alongside character development.

What to Expect

Free haircuts are the highlight of CleanUP's presence at this event, with volunteer hairdressers offering community barber services throughout the afternoon. Haircut vouchers for the needy and grooming services for low-income families will be available, along with grooming support for fatherless children and haircare assistance for single-parent families.

Starting a new school year with a fresh haircut helps students feel ready and confident, and CleanUP's charity haircut drives are built around exactly that kind of moment. Complimentary haircuts for widows and widowers and volunteer hairdresser services for community support round out the offerings for KIPPster families in attendance.
