CleanUP is thrilled to announce a special event dedicated to providing essential services to those in need. On August 28, 2024, join us at Arlington Charities for an afternoon of support and community spirit. From 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, located at 811 Secretary Dr, Arlington, TX 76015, we will be offering free showers and haircuts—a vital step in aiding those who are economically disadvantaged.

About Arlington Charities

Arlington Charities has been a cornerstone in the Arlington community, dedicating its efforts to providing food, education, and resources to those in need. Our Services

At this event, CleanUP will be providing two primary services: showers and haircuts.

Showers

The provision of community showers access is essential for maintaining hygiene and dignity. Our mission is to make free shower locations easily available for the economically disadvantaged, ensuring safe showering for vulnerable populations. With hygiene facilities for the needy, we also offer emergency shower trailers for crisis situations and pop-up bathing facilities for temporary housing. There will also be accessible shower services for disabled individuals in need, emphasizing hygiene stations for at-risk youth and public bathing options for everyone.

Haircuts

Alongside showers, we will facilitate free haircut events to support community members. Our community barber services aim to provide haircut vouchers for the needy and organize charity hair salon days. Grooming services for low-income families, haircare assistance for single-parent families, and complimentary haircuts for widows and widowers will also be available. By offering grooming support for fatherless children, our charity haircut drives for vulnerable populations—and volunteer hairdresser services for community support—make a significant impact in restoring confidence and hope.
